Former Professor of ”Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Faculty of Medical Bioengineering. His research interest includes electromagnetism, and electromagnetic security devices in civil, military and biomedical education applications. He authored over 500 scieentific papers published in scientific journals and proceedings, patents, books and chapters. He was Ph.D. supervisor in Physics at the doctoral school of the Faculty of Physics, “Al.I. Cuza” University of Iasi and Co-supervisor in Electrical Engineering ”Gh. Asachi” Technical Universsity of Iasi. Awards and honors include the ”Henry Coanda” medal for invention activity, the ”Traian Vuia” and ”Petre Sergescu” Romanian Academy Prizes; the Romanian National Order of Merit – Knight Grade, Knight of the Sovereign Order of the Holy Virgin Mary and over 70 Gold, Silver and Bronze medal prizes from International Salons of Inventions and New Technologyes. Professor Emeritus of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi. Member of professional association, such as IEEE, IET, The New York Academy of Science, the European Society for Engineering and Medicine, Romania Society of Electromagnetic Compatibility, European Alliances for Medical and Biological Engineering & Science, CRIFST – Romanian Academy etc.
