Editor-in-Chief of History of medicine. The Russian journal (SCOPUS-indexed), Doctor of Medical Sciences (RF, 2003), Doctor of Historical Sciences (RF, 2007), PhD in Philosophy (EU, 2019), M.A. in Catholic Clinical Ethics (USA, 2021). Author of 200+ scientific publications, including 5 books on the history of philosophical problems of medicine. Over the last 5 years, published more than 10 own and edited over 123 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Led a team that had translated into Russian and published 22 treatises of Galen. Developed research in the field of the apodictic method in Ancient Medicine, resulting in a scientific discovery and the publication of the monograph “Galen on Apodictics” (2020). Russia National Delegate – International Society for the History of Medicine (ISHM); Advisory Board Member-Conference on Medicine and Religion; Deputy Chairman-Russian Society of Surgeons-Gastroenterologists. As Chairman of the Ethics Committee at “I.M. Sechenov” First Moscow State Medical University (Russia) for seven years he made numerous clinical and bioethical decisions on clinical and experimental work, trials of new drugs and medical technologies; protection of the patient’s rights; ethical expertise for the scientific work of the University.
