“Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
He accomplished all the steps of the didactical hierarchy in the Department of Pediatrics no.1 of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, becoming associate professor (2006) and Chief of Pediatrics Department (2016). He is Ph.D. in Medicine, specialist in Pediatrics (2004), specialist in Pediatric Hematology (2020), complementary studies in Pediatric Rheumatology (2011). Between 1997-2019 he was Deputy Medical Director of Children’s Clinical Hospital of Cluj-Napoca. President of the National Pediatric Committee of Health Ministry of Romania (since December 2016).
He is national coordinator of PRINTO (since 2010) and past President of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Rheumatology (2013-2019). Founding member of the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics (1994) and member of the Romanian Society of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology.
Main author and/or co-worker for 9 volumes and monographs, and 41 papers. Member in 23 scientific Committees (8 of them as President or vice-president).
