Graduate of the “George Enescu” Academy of Arts Iaşi, painting (class of Prof. Corneliu Ionescu); PhD in plastic and decorative arts, National University of Arts (UNA) Bucharest with the thesis “Secret Geometry of European Painting” (coordinator Prof. dr. Ioan Stendl); Master in Painting, “George Enescu” University of Arts. Awards: Diploma of Excellence at the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation, Iasi, Romania; Silver Medal at the European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation, Iasi, Romania.
Cristian Ungureanu has published several books and articles on art theory, gave many national and international conferences, and organized over 30 personal and group exhibitions.
