• Dr. Roxana Filip graduated from “Grigore T. Popa”University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania, in 1991.
•Immediately after graduation she joined the Faculty, in Microbiology Department until 2004.
•During this period she started as junior instructor and in 2000 became lecturer in the same Department.
•Presently she is head of the Tuberculosis and Molecular Biology Laboratory at the Suceava County Hospital.
•Her research focus is the study of Enterobacteriaceae resistance against antibiotics, and Mycobacterium resistance in the Suceava region.
•She is lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Biological Sciences of the Suceava University.
•Since 1993 she is an active member in the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID) – member in the Education Committee, ESGAP (ESCMID Study Group for Antibiotic Policies) executive, ESGMYC (ESCMID Study Group for Mycobacterial Infections) executive.
•Sine 2005 – abstract reviewer for ECCMID and co-chair in scientific sessions, member of the National Tuberculosis Programme, as expert in the laboratory diagnosis field.
